Pops Concert and Graduation 2015 PDF Print E-mail

The 2014-2015 school year has drawn to a close. This Friday, May 29, at 7:00 p.m. is the annual Pops Concert in the CLHS gymnasium. The theme for this year's concert is Pure Imagination. Come by to hear our choirs, groups, and individuals perform secular numbers. You can download a copy to the program here.

On Saturday morning, May 30, at 10:00 a.m. the seventeen seniors of the class of 2015 will have their comencement ceremony. We congratulate them on their accomplishments and ask the Lord's blessings on their future endeavors.

For those of you unable to attend, we will stream both events live. You can access the stream below. The events will be recorded and may be accessed from the streaming archive at a later date.

Please note: We do our best to provide quality audio of the Pops Concert. Because of limited equipment, some instruments are not picked up well by our streaming microphones. The Ustream service we use is free to us, but ad based. We have no control over ad content or when pop-up ads will occur.

2015 Grade School Basketball Camp PDF Print E-mail

Dates:       June 14-17, 2015

For:          Any student entering grades 5-9

As of June 12, there are no rooms available on the guys' side of the dorms

This is a low-cost basketball camp that is offered to all students entering grades 5-9.  It is an opportunity to improve the basketball skills that are often neglected during the summer months.

The key element to the C-Hawk Basketball Camp is that all instruction and encouragement is Christ-centered.  Campers will be reminded that all of their gifts and abilities come from God, and it is up to each one of them to use them to the best of their ability.  Each session will begin with devotion, and prayers will be led by the camp personnel.

All campers will be taught the fundamentals of basketball: dribbling, shooting, passing, etc.  They will also be given quality instruction on offensive and defensive strategies from the coaching staff.  All attendees will gain basketball, teamwork, and life skills that will prove to be valuable well beyond their week on campus.
